Hasn't mangled my discs, and I'd say it's not running any hotter than my laptop gets while playing games... And you have to really be able to play around with the dashboard capabilities and the live marketplace to really be able to appreciate how cool this system really is(plus the games are awesome, once again, you have to really be able to sit down and play them to appreciate them.) Those kiosks don't do it justice at all.

I hope so too, Nintendo consoles have always been cheaper than the other two.
The Gamecube was only $99 after a few months.
And it's worth alot more than $99 it's got a frigging ATI graphics card in it for crying out loud.

A couple of days ago, I found an e-mail in my inbox; "A 'Revolution' is coming...", and the only thing it contained was this:

And a link going here:
http://ms.nintendo-europe.com/black/enGB/

Nintendo's got style...

The Nintendo Revolution is clearly going to be the most innovative gaming experience for a loooong time. I heard that Nintendo was aiming after being the "discount" console providers, and then just stick to the handheld market. I tell you, if the Revolution is getting a price tag below 315$, then it's going to get a place beside my 360. I can't even imagine what it will be like to play on that console, but after watching the movie(link above), I think I got a little more insight in Nintendo's idea with the console. Innovation and creativity.

And then, is Nintendo doesn't hit the spot with Revolution, then I dare to say that it's the end for Nintendo. At least, regarding the stationary console market. Then they'll only have the handheld consoles left(speaking of handhelds, that's an area where nobody can beat Nintendo!).

In the end, I'll probably buy a Revolution no matter what the price tag is going to be, at least then just to support Nintendo.

Innovative gaming all the way!

The estimation for the Revolutions price is between $150 and $100, or so say the developers who spoke to ign.

The graphics will be around twice as good as on the gc, and unless you play it on a high definition tv, it's extremely unlikely you'll notice a difference in graphical quality between it and the 360 or the ps3.

Surprisingly most of the people I know who are against Nintendo are non-gamers, and look no further than how good the graphics are, and more importantly, how ridiculous the cost it. They assume that Nintendo is worse because it doesn't cost as much as the others.

Did you know most people actually think that the gc is the worst graphically of this generations three consoles just because it's the cheapest? Few realize the ps2 has the worst graphics, mainly because it controls the most of the market.

Old thread? Well, if 3 days is old...
But nobody on these forums know the answers to any of these questions, but that just leaves everything to be possible

I haven't heard anything about the revolution except the are supposed to play older nintendo games via downloading. Then I heard they aren't going to do that anymore. so, I hounestly think the Revolution will be pushed aside until everyone forgot about it, and the ps4 comes out. Who knows though, maybe nintendo's keeping secret for a reason. Maybe they have an idea that they don't want their competitors stealing? Who knows. I dont.

I've heard nothing about cancellations. Perhaps other games new sources, and Nintendo themselves, might be more reliable?

Yah, that probably would be better. Though I haven't been there for a long time. What exactly is the Revolution supposed to be able to do? Could some one give me the low-down on it?

One word repeated many times (but different): Gameplay. Will. Roxor. Your. Soxors. On. The. Revo.

Well, gameplay didn't "roxor my soxors" on the NGC, so I'm a forever skeptic.

The Xbox was the best system for gameplay in the current gen, IMHO. The NGC had its share of dazzlers, but the amount of A+ titles on the Xbox surpassed it.
