I just got db and went threw the tutorial and everything but i still dont know shit. I'm a big nooblet so if any could show me some beginners stuff to get me warmed up it would be most appreciated

There's a book out which teaches you darkbasic and darkbasicpro from a noob level. I bought it not so long ago and it's really useful, it explains things rather well and doesn't jump into the deep end like some "beginner guides" do.
It's called "Beginner's guide to DarkBasic game programming" by Jonathan S. Harbour with Joshua R. Smith.

Think of something simple to make then if you have any specific questions on how to get something working then post them here. Although make sure you look over the tutorials and the help files first. There's a lot to be learnt from those. That book would be a good aid also.
