Hi, I'm new to C++ can some recommend a teacher (low price(under $100)). If no one knows someone that will teach a ***REMOVED*** year old, then can someone recommend a online school.

thanks, FireBird

do what i did - buy a book, i was cheap and bought "c++ programming in easy steps" for £10.99 it's a good book, basic but good, lays down a firm foundation and is excellent for a quick reference manual

Please don't post your age, for your own protection.

I know several people on these forums of your age that can code in DBC/DBPro/C++, so your age is not really a factor in what you can or can't learn anyway.

age is never a factor - it tends to be the type of person you are, you stand little chance of learning a complex language like c++ if you are the type of person who when it gets difficult give in, you need to be able to keep going at it

c++ is a complicated language, but i do not but i do not believe that you would need a teacher for it - a book is sufficient for most people, as to teachers of c++ in general i have never come accross one, with the exception of people who work in universities, as it is the kind of thing you learn when you do a computer science course

i would recommend buying a book - i used Mike McGrath's C++ in Easy Steps, it's a simple book but the examples in it are very good at explaining the point
