i cant seem to get the music playing() command to work - even something as simple as this wont work:



by dont work i mean the program never seems to think the music has stopped. just in case it matters - im using mp3s. any ideas?

Music Playing() doesn't work for me (and many others). Hopefully it will be fixed soon

This dll has a command called STREAM ISPLAYING(), won't work with DB's music commands though ... you will have to replace your music commands with STREAM() counterparts ... supports ogg, mp3, flac, MOD, IT loading too.

I am currently using sound and it does the job. Why not use it until the problem is rectified.

Because sound loads the sound into RAM and plays it from there ... it uses up RAM fast which can be better used to add other things. Streaming from disk is a better option as sound is streamed from a fixed buffer in RAM ... this works well on low spec machines too.
