Hi all,

I'm a bit of an icon nut, I love downloading and collecting them (the cooler the better). One of my favourite designers recently set-up this Icon Trading system - you sign-up (for free) and get free downloads each week. But like collecting cards, you only get one set picked at random from 5. The idea being that you get other people to join and can then swap your icons with them to complete your set (using the site).

So.. if you dig cool looking icons too, which are all 100% royalty free for use on web sites, Windows, games, etc then sign-up for the free icon trading thing here: http://www.iconbuffet.com and then let me know which sets you have so we can swap 'em

Right now I've got Shanghai Tech and Taipai Buddies 1.

I have no icons on my desktop, being the sad, minimalist boy that I am.

I'm thinking about a font trading system, with people going crazy over the super rare spacekey character... Anyone up to it?

Ohh, Oslo looks so cool! - they're all pretty well drawn though, I like the unusual angle and subtle 3D look.

I gotta draw a ton of icons for a project at work, this'll give me some inspiration .

I just have Shanghai Tech, so I pretty much need everything else hehehe.

EDIT:

Rich, did you know that if you download VS.NET 2005 Express they give you close to a dozen icon sets from IconBuffet for free? They're different designs of the generic icons (i.e. open, save, print, etc.). Some of them are cool.
