If anyone has any problems, post them here.

If anybody gets it into game, please post pics here (.JPG).

Have fun.

Looks really good, KeithC. Can't wait to see what you could do with hallway (or room) wall segments with this kind of window to shoot through. Now if the bars were far enough apart to toss grenades through...

The other night I was staring up at the stars, wrapped in thought and wondering............where the hell did my roof go?

Well now I can see I need to tweak the texture a bit...mostly around the handle area. Thanks Snail. It doesn't have any animation files with it, that's why it doesn't open. Remember...community model, someone else can animate it.

Here's a new .TGA file for the door. The handle has been redone, as well as the bars.

Hey, I hate to sound rude and all, I mean, right after you finished this, it must be annoying to get another request regarding it.

Could you make a frame? Nothing fancy, mabye either wood or metel.
This would make it look better in game.
Thanks,
-Sunflash

I thought about that, but I wasn't sure if it should be a separate model (no joints/hinges). What would probably work better is if someone were to create a segment or two using the door.

yes, I could see about making a script to animate the door to open and close, it should be simple.

Another thing, I can't make a segment out of th door, it's WAY to small for FPSC. It's like a toy door, VERY small!

Must be a scale issue, once someone puts it into a FPE file for me I'll have a look at it in game and adjust it accordingly; then re-upload it. I remember when I dropped the Aiko character into my modeler she was HUGE.

-Keith

Of course the door must be perfect for the White Rabbit

When someone makes it into an FPE file that should be good enough then, I guess...as they would have scaled it already.

-Keith

Good lesson for next time though.

Nice door Keith just a suggestion the door looks too new maybe you could use grunge brushes on the texture.

Keith, why I would like it to be resized in your modeler program, is because then I could make it a segment, and use it just like you use other doors, you know, th egreen block that sticks to walls?

However, it's impossible to do this right now.
I already have it scaled correctly in an .FPE file, so I'll post that... wait... A thought hit me in the head... ouch... I could, um, make the door in the segment editor like I already ried to do, only, go ahead with it instead of stopping due to size, then just rescale the outputed .FPE file... don't nkow why I didn't think of that before, it's completly obvious... one second...

When FPSC develops enough, lets make a Redwall game!

ok, my plan failed. When you modeled the door, you modeled it flat down on the ground I think, so it appears that way in the Segment editor. Wait, no plan! Be right back...

EDIT: ok, I failed, Time for someone else to try and do this

When I saved it as a .X file in Ultimate Unwrap, it was lying on the ground come to think of it.

Looks like the interest in this has faded out. How many people have tried to put this in-game, besides Snail and Sunflash?
