becouse i`m trying to get at least a little close my game to the game called "operation flashpoint"....

i make free 3d models , then you tell me some stuff about usseles posts and then something heppen...

Tell it to play the animation frame range that matches the crouching/jumping etc. keyframes... (hopefully you know what those each frame means...)

...maybe one day I'll finish a project

lol sim you're mean

when the control key is pressed, you move the camera down to half the height it was at or so. As for jumping, you need code to check if the player is on the ground and if not, move them down each iteration of the loop. for laying down, you could probably have the camera at 1/5 it's height or so. you can also use the curvevalue() command to make a smooth transition between heights.

and sim, the camera doesn't have animation frames.

If it was set to 30, you wouldn't get 33.

That's a very nice looking game you have there my friend, tell me, did you take everything from me apart from the building?

Let me see... oh yes, the gun is mine, the landscape is mine and the crosshair is mine. Did you ask for my stuff? Or did you think you could get away with stealing?

Look familiar?

No wonder he can have 50,000 projects going at once!

@ Dodic

For the projects that are yours you need to start naming all threads with the project number first. That way we can quickly identify each project.

Gosh, its no doubt that he stole all those models. I can't beleive you guys just figured out he was stealing everything. He wont reply to this topic, nevertheless reply to these forums. He'll come onto the forums with a new screen name, so I want the mods to look out for the same IP coming on. If he starts fresh and not a theif, I'll let him go. Ptherwise, I'll flame him every topic.

I thought he was just a guy with way too much time on his hands and a work-a-holic.

I'm sure we'll all know right away what his new name is if he does that.

nobody really wishes he was dead. he is a vital part to teh entertainment factor on this forum but UCH THAT MAKES ME MAAAD!!!

god im liek 3 seconds away from sic-ing my v.92 modem on him.

edit

well seeing as he's got tons of programming experience but insists on using darkbasic, I guess his astonishing programming skills will allow him to go far beyond the realm of darkbasics capabilities and make his game like operation flashpoint (which I really didn't enjoy all that much)

I've only seen him say that he's good at C++... but he never shows any C++ programs he's done.

Quote: "He asked a question and you guys flamed him"

We didn't flame him for asking a question.

Quote: "Someone in his family died"

That doesn't give him an excuse to do what he wants.

Quote: "So what he stole some media."

What do you mean so what? He stole some media, he could atleast ask, gees, I would've been ok with it if he did, but if he goes around saying it's his fps, and not give one single bit of credit to me, then it is a big deal, because I put my time and effort into my game to make myself look like a good game maker, and he takes it, expecting everyone to tell him how good his game is, when it's actually all my work.

Quote: "Yes he can make his own media "

I didn't say he couldn't, I said if he could make his own then why take mine? I'm not even that good a modeler myself.

hehehe

@medival

someone died, it happens, it's sad, it happens to all of us sometime, but the only thing htat's relevant about that to this forum is that it's caused him to not be here to answer this.

and i do not insult him because he's in a bad time. i do because i'm mad because i've posted several suggestions and feedbacks to the guy and now this. uch.

@whoever

and maybeh e stole those models too. maybe he made them. maybe he didn't know how to position his own models as a gun. maybe he doesn't know crap about coding so he's looking to drag and drop his models in to see them in action.

edit:

sorry I meant the ones he's posting in seemingly random forums about (the model packs he wanted to have TGC sell for him). Bad wording, my bad.

Hey, I think Dodic is the BEST programmer. He acts similar, and he just started posting alot when Dodic 'has a death in the family'. He could really have a death in the family, but the conditions just seem so strange...

Dodic,

I have been waiting for an explanation from you for almost two days now. Will I have to wait, because the flaming will only get worse, and you will lose your reputation around these forums. Alternativelly, you could appologise, and things will cool down a little. It is up to you, though I would recommend the second one.

Oh yeah, good point Devastation. They just act alike, and the BEST programmer rarely posts in Dodic's topics. And, its just convenient that Dodic has a death in the family when he starts getting flamed alot.
