im trying to make a halo-based game (not for commercial use, of course)
It would really help if someone could give me a link or something to a site with free halo models....

(preferrably animated)

um i wouldnt do that bud... Halo is still making cash for Microsoft.. and your looking at serious copyright laws... i mean really, do you want to piss microsoft off?

Call Microsoft and get the Gaming Contact information and request permission to use their models.. just to keep your a** safe...

AND MAKE SURE THEY SEND YOU SOMETHING SAYING ITS OK.. letter, email, whatever...

Those who fly low hurt least when they fall...

lol i wont sell it.
its just for my friend's enjoyment (and mine) he's a huge halo fan.
besides, i can only get the energy sword and the battle rifle...
