Thanks

Yep, got a basic idea and game plan. Right now I'm working on alot of things before I actually start on the game. Weapons... models, terrain, textures etc. Just trying to get the most out of FPSC.

Your level sounds sweet, post some screenshots

Also, working on a nice new test game skybox. I think my ss's would look better with a nice bright clear sky.

The only thing I do is resize them so the file size isn't so large.

No demo. Haven't even started on the game yet. Just working on models, buildings and weapons etc.

That scope is installed wrong. It should be on a a side becourse otherwise you cant reload it. You cant reload kar on side ways, it should be reloaded from top.

Spec-stinking-tacular, yet again! God knows I can do nothing of the sort myself, so I stand again amazed.

I reject your reality and substitute it with a full-on, guns-blazin' video game reality of my own.

Top notch yet again mate. This might be one of those 'pro' effort's everyone keep's harping on about if you get a good story together to use the excellent segments and entitys youve made.

Hey, great use of textures
And also, the WW2 Media Pack's weapons seems awesome in FPSC.

Oh wait, do the textures are from the WW2 Media Pack? If yes, they are amazing.

I still have like 9459465 guns left to do

I could try and post a small tutorial tomorrow if you want though. It's not very difficult, I picked it up in a few days.

By the way, Doughboy - does your graphics card support DirectX 9.0 and Shader Model 3.0? Because I might buy the same graphics card as you .

Have a good one! ^_^

The ATI Radeon 9250 I have it's the same model and only supports shader model 2.0, but the for the price (it's as cheap as you will find, like 50 us $, I bought mine for 46 euros) you'll get 4 pixel pipelines and 2 shader at a core speed of 240 mhz and a memory speed of 400 mhz, with resolutions up to 2048x1536, agp 8x,128 MB DDR, 64-bit interface. It's not a top notch graphics card, but believe me, on price concern, it's by far the best. I play Call of Duty 2 at 1024x768, with anisotropic filter,Anti-aliasing x4 and all the game textures definitions to high. It's not XBOX 360, but it's a lot fun! Of course, if you have the $$, spent them on a Asus V9999ULTRA, it's something special: both on graphics, and money(700 euros!!!). But that's an high end card. I posted here a pic of Call of Duty 2 running on my pc, and believe it, my personal computer is rather old:AMD duron 1600, 512 Mb Ram and with the ATI radeon card I bought recently, I shouted: IT'S NOT DEAD YET!

Can you use DirectX 9.0 shaders in Call Of Duty 2 alimbo83?
I have brand new computer and when I use DirectX 9.0 shaders framerates go really low.

PS: My specs below!

Yes, I use Directx 9.0 shaders in COD2 and the framerates stay the same. For me the greatest problem concerning framerates is if I put the bodies option to more than medium. In some places it can get a bit slow, so I never pass that mark. With your PC, you should not have any problem running the game with full specs! But you can only run it in direct X 7.0 shaders? That's strange. Maybe turning off sync every frame? Or SLI? I'm just guessing, because I don't really understand why it doesn't work well. Try downloading the latest catalyst drivers and mess a bit with the graphics options or just run it in the recommended settings.By the way, in FPSC what are the framerates you usually have?

In FPSC my framerates are usually 29-33 fps.
Maybe COD 2 works better if I low down resolution and anti-aliasing a bit.
Now I have 1280x1024, 4x anti-aliasing, DirectX 7.0 shaders and large number of corpses.

BTW, nice house Doughboy
