@Snage
Thanks for your support!
Those walls in the game were supplied with FPSC. (they were stock - chateau cellar segments)
I plan on making a "wall pack" sometime soon in the near future.
I have made some hieroglyphs and I have experimented with some burned out and bombed out sections.
It will probably get bad feedback for low res, but it will include step by step instructions on wall editing.
...Coming soon. (right after midterms and in between assignments)

@Other CE Supporters
Thanks!
It's official, DBPro has been added to the Conjured Entertainment Arsenal.
Thanks to everyone who helped make it possible.

@TGC
The newsletter says that the file limit on uploads for the forums went from 10mb to 50mb.
Perfect! I think 50mb will be just what the FPSC community needs for our demos. This changes everything.
THANKS TGC!

Conjured Entertainment, can I give a few pointers for your game, if you want them?

The MP40 should have 32 bullets.
I could understand the taliban using mp40's, because they seem to have WW2 weapons, but mostly old russian equipment. It would have given the game more of a feel, if the enemies had AK47's.

Maybe make an addon for it?

I cant give you any more feedback because i dont have the game, just the screens.

No, Liz.
Only the Game has the LightRay Script. Files\scriptbank\user\conjuredlight.fpi
I was planning on lowering the price anyways, so now is a good time.

The New Price for "The Hunt For Osama" is only $5.00
Anyone who paid full price will get my next release free of charge.

Liz,
The Add-On has an FPI Scripting Tutorial with the models and scripts shown at the website.
The Street-Pack has everything needed to build streets quickly and easily.
Detailed descriptions of what is included with the packs can be found at my website.

@Higgins
Thanks for the suggestions.
I thought about changing the rounds and even the weapon at one point.
I decided to change only the rounds, but I put it off then I forgot to do it.

Quote: "I cant give you any more feedback because i dont have the game, just the screens. "

Now its cheap, so give it a try.

Conjured - Unfourtunatly I can't by your game now, but I noticed what I beleive might be a problem in your required system specs - You say you need at least DSL for MP, but the FPSC box says you need broadband. Forgive me if I am mistaken, as I don't have DSL, but it was just something I wanted to point out.

Thanks again for the comments guys.

@FPS Master
Quote: "How many levels does it have? About how many hours of gameplay? "

I answered this on the last page, but here ya go...

Only 5 levels in the single player version, with three of those being combat.
You Start with a "Briefing" Level, and then you have the 3 combat levels.
You End (if you make it) with your return to headqaurters to collect your rewards.

I would have made more levels, but I wanted to keep the game small in size.
More levels also mean more waiting for loading screens, so the gameplay is harder to reduce the number of levels.
Besides, with a total of 18 wanted terrorist in the game, 3 combat levels made for 6 objectives on each.
(I love to slip in a 6-6-6 when I can.)

There are more enemies than that in all though.
Those 18 are the ones with rewards that are objectives.

As for the second question...
I guess that depends on the Player.
If you are Elite, then maybe an hour, or so.
If you are a Scrub, then it might take you weeks.
The length of gameplay all depends on the user.

@Conner94
Thanks for pointing that out.
I forget that DSL isn't technically broadband.
But doesn't it work on DSL too?
Like I said, I'm on dial up so I can't test the Multiplayer.

In the UK we have A-DSL, I think in the US it's just DSL, but they are both broadband, not narrowband, like dial-up. Cable is fibre optic in the UK and is broadband, just different media.

It shouldn't make a difference for the game, it just talks using IP anyway.

lan = local area network.which also uses fibre cable for transmitting information in a lan or wan setting.
fiber cable is used in cable, cable is another way like the overhead phone lines of distributing phone lines
.
fo is faster and can carry more signal.
braodband/adsl are forms of technology that run connections using o/h cables and fo.

www.filefront.com = terms

myhosting = uptome

They might be ok for demos.
I'll have to look again.

Side Note:
September 12, 1943.
Adolph Hitler sends Otto Skorzeny to break Benito Mussolini out of a mountain top prison in Italy.
Hmmm...
That makes for a great plot.

T3 is a type of server though old by todays tech. and you can safely assume that anything but dial up is broadband.

Yes Jen,

Alot of people have asked, so I made a DEMO for this game today.
The DEMO is included in this post.

DO NOT install it on your Desktop. Save it in a temp folder instead.
DO NOT run this out of the Explorer Window. Use the START > RUN method instead.

Make sure you have all other programs closed before you run this exe.

Have Fun!

Post Script
I also uploaded a new install.exe for the game too.
Now, the file size for the full version is half the size it was before.
I'll try to update the link tonight.

EDIT

The upload keeps crashing and I don't know why.
The file is less than 50mb, in fact its closer to 30mb.
I keep getting an SQL error, so I sent it to RICH.
As soon as he figures it out, then I will post the download.

I went ahead and made a link. Here it is....
The Hunt For Osama DEMO

The DEMO is only a small level intended to give you a feel for the game.
The LightRay is not in the DEMO level, because it was previously demonstrated in the trailer.

Have fun!

Hey, I really want this. Is there any way you can use an alternative payment provider such as swreg.org? I need a company besides paypal that accepts american express.

edit:
nvm, ignore that although it might be a good idea

I got paypal working, and I sent the money.

I suggest if the upload keeps crashing to put it into a multi-part .rar using winrar. Then upload each file to megaupload.com so you don't need to pay for bandwith. I bought a megaupload lifetime premium account and I know its the best, I wouln't have speant $150 if megaupload sucked.

PayPal Only.
I've been loyal to them long before eBay ever owned them.
Back when people called them scammers when they first started.
They have never done me wrong, so I will return the favor.
PayPal Only.

Kewl Thanks,
But that's still the old download.
I haven't edited the HTML yet.
That's a good download though if you are on high-speed.
I'm going to re-do the download page now.

There was an SQL Error when I attempted to upload it to the TGC Servers.
I sent a copy of the Error Message in an E-mail to Richard.
So, as soon as he figures out what I am doing wrong, then I'll get it up there.

It does exist. It just can't be uploaded at the Moment.
Its just a small level to give you a feel for the game.
It doesn't include the LightRay, because the trailer does.

Which files are corrupt?

I can email them to you in an attachment.

-----------------------------------------

I have the new download up now.
Its the installer one.

You shouldn't have any problems with either.
The old one has to be installed manually, while the new one doesn't.
I know the old one was good, because it worked fine for everyone else.
The new one is the one I'm not sure about yet.
So, let me know.

There are six files in the new Zip of the full version.

ReadMe.TXT
LICENSE.TXT
LICENSE-BSD.TXT
AUTORUN.INF
INSTALL.EXE
H4O.ICO

If you extract these files to a temp folder, then run the Install.exe from the START>RUN as described above, then the Installer does the rest.

If you burn these files on a CD, then it will automatically install when you stick it in a PC.
Just burn the six files directly on the CD and not in a folder.
Make sure the computer has DirectX 9.0c+ installed, because I don't check for it.
This Burn to CD Design allows Dial-Up users to download it at a friend's house, then take it home with them.
The design is not intended for re-distribution of the software.

Glad to hear all went well.
I guess I'll have to wait until the next purchaser to know about the new one.
I think it's good too though.

Sometimes the files just get flakey in route.

I had to double post like a noob, because there is no JAVA upload for the Edit page.
After Six hours of uploading....the file disappeared!

I had it at $9.95 and they were complaining.

That's only because you are elite.

It is simple, like I said, it only gives you a feel for the game.
I never planned for a demo for this game, so my Sci-Fi will have a kicking Demo.

Hi,

Just recently purchased FPSC and decided to download your demo to gauge what the software is capable of. Must say nice game, I especially liked the 'one-hit-kills', surprising but not annoying. Reminded me a little of the first time I played Serious Sam and had all those maniacal bombs-for-heads guys all running at me.

I will purchase it shortly, and hopefully you can buy my first project in a few months
