Go and get WinRar and then you can UnRar/Unzip it...

Redownload the trees again too.

Took you more time to write that than to google it. But here you go, I'm a nice guy and as a hobby I like to demonstrate people are lazy.

I'm pretty sure I know everything. Doubts are something rare in me and I am never wrong, as this signature can prove.

Yup, Treemagik G2. HOwever, Treemagik G3 is out know It's way better!

For all those that can't unzip the RAR file, do as pthers have, download WinRAR. It'a alot better then WinZIP!

Actually, I'm thinking about it, but I'm a bit busy, school is starting up again, and I'm trying to learn DBPro, and BlitzPlus programming. However, I probably will get around to making more trees and bushes. And if you guys gave me a copy of PlantLife, then I'd make a free pack of 50 plants! lol, of course, PlantLife is like, umm, $50, so basicly, a dollar a plant
But if you al pitched in, I'm sure it could be done

Obbidiah did his screenshot while testing the game, not in a built game. I to have the issue that the textures dont show AFTER the game is built. The textures do show and look great in a test game BEFORE the game is built. If the textures show in a test game, it only makes sense that every thing is corect as far "static" or "non-static" and placement of files. So if all is correct, why wont it work? I hope you get the issue resolved as they are nice trees.

I built a game from one of the example games provided by TGC. The texture files did make it into the game folers.

I checked the game folders in the game I made with the trees and the texture files werent there. I copied the textures manually and it did no good.

I checked the FPE files for the trees and there is no texture listed there.

I opened the .x file for a tree and the texture is listed there.

My question is: Will it work in a built game if the game is not told where the textures are?

Sunflash, can you make some sort of a mid hedge and a high hedge? Like the ones you see next to a road? It would be a great odd-on.

Something like this: http://www.jaynecotten.com/images4/hedge1.jpg

http://www.tombridge.com/rta/images/springtime/Hedge-tm.jpg (but a bit higher maybe as a mid hedge)

Like this: http://www.gardenclubofcyprus.com/A%20close%20clipped%20hedge.jpg (but a more natural look, as in not cut rectangular)

That would be great, thanks!

You do NOT have to buy the DEMO of WinRAR.
The Demo works fine for me. You don't have a time limit, so you can use that.

Nope, sorry, Treemagik dosn't let me make anything like that

I have like, two minutres, so I'm going to look into the texture problem again. I think it's the fact that no texture files are specified in the .FPE file, so FPSC dosn't know that it's supposed to compile it. But if thats the case, then if you copy the textures, then put them in the folder with the .X file. However, from what you guys say, that dosn't work either.

This won't work because there are multiple textures needed on each model.

Hmm, I can't find this out. When I get more time, I'll look into Monsters tree pack and see how he used multiple textures.

I think it will if you point the fpe file to the extra textures just add another line in the fpe file like this...

;visualinfo
textured = AutumnOak_3leaves.TGA
textured_2 = AutumnOak_3trunk.tga
textured_3 = AutumnOak_3leaves2.tga
.............................................?

There are 3 textures being called from the .X file right..?

I am just speculating because I dont have the time to try this due to the fact I am involved on a 3D animated short that has a certain scene that needs to be done by the 20th of this month after that I can help work on this but I think it will be fixed by then.

How much is the Monster Pack n cant you just show us what their fpe files say...n look where they put them all...
