This may be obvious to some guys so no sarcasm please. I have just managed to make my BSPs in Q3 and RTCW much brighter and crisper. How...?

Using the set gamma from the display commands.
Even without the ambience light in world spawn it works a treat. Now with both I can truly make atmospheric scenes.

So obviouse wasn't it! I just thought someone else may benefit from knowing this.
