I will probably charge around 3 or 4 bucks for this once its finished. I plan on having about 13 or so models in it

pardon me but the free textures are not free they are GPL that means I can do what I want with them as long as I dont break the license

and if you dont want to buy it then dont, that's the beauty of the free world

Also your not paying for the textures your paying for the model

it dont matter if the textures are free or not its the model your paying for.

Lots of professionals use both free textures, and buy texture packs; it saves time. Sometimes artists use the free texture as a 'base' texture, then do some work to it to suit the model and/or game environment (i.e., add blood, dirt, etc.).

There's nothing wrong with what CB Studios is doing, as long as he's (as he says) following the license agreement.
