Tried to compile and asked to insert disk (as usual) but program will still not compile, even after restart. It gets as far as 'building executable' window - and just stops. The only way out is to cancel. I have tried running program from the disk and running other DB programs with no luck. Am now desperate as in middle of project.
In the past there have been no problems after inserting disk. Any suggestions please?

I believe its safedisk that has not verified your cd. Scratch maybe, or dirt, or maybe your cdrom ain't so accurate anymore.

Hmm... check to see whether or not the executable it is trying to build exists. If it does, delete it and try again.

Hi thanks for replies
The cd and cd rom are fine. Have re-installed DB pro and everything workrd fine - Until after around 100 compilations the insert disk message appeared. After inserting disk and restarting program - the same problem of not being able to compile occurred. How frustrating!
