I couldn’t find a post that deals with the faulty doorkey script. So I made my own. My script combines the doorkey.fpi with the dooruse.fpi. Once the player has the key, the "door locked" message fades away and the "enter to use" message appears. Post your opinions below.

this is cool that 'u need a key to open' even if u have the key is anoying,,nice one mate

also i noticed a bug,once u open the door u get that dreaded message...'u need a key to open'..oh well

Uhh, big problem is that you initalize the image AFTER run.

Mosillivo i've got a problem with your scipt. Well not really with your scipt your script works fine but when I pick up my key for opening the door the keys say's: door is locked you need a key. I know my keyscript is fine bbecause i got a new one from my friend but do u know what could have happend?
