Just recently the forum displays nothing but blank pages, and my popup blocker indicates that popups are being blocked, this wasn't happening several hours ago, I was just wondering if any changes to the forum code have been made that would cause my popup blocker to kill the pages?

I had to bypass the blocker to get on.

From my blocker log:

Had hoped it would be the new forums, but apparently not

Originally thought it was a DNS problem, but as the site was being found (and had nothing to display), I surmissed that it wasn't, and mySQL caused a problem ...

I wouldn't have taken them down over a whole weekend to put up a new version. It was just Apache burping, a quick service reset and it's fine. Would have done it sooner but actually spent the weekend *away* from the computer (shock, horror!)

It was nice to do something different over the weekend, but it still felt weird not being able to view the forum.

It's incredible how many people are already back and posting within minutes of it coming back online! Admit it, you were all sitting there pressing the refresh button all weekend, weren't you?

That's what I was doing all weekend too. And making some Web Templates. But mainly updating my website (and checking the forums to see if they worked)
Quote: "I got scared that I made somebody mad and got banned. "

That's exactly what I thought. So I had other people go there for me to see if they got the same results.

I was laughing to myself at all the pathetic losers that would be crumbling to pieces because the forum was down .... while frantically pressing refresh myself.

At least I actually became active again on breakbeat terrorism as a result.

Edit: Ooops. That's a website, and not a musical oriented plane hijacking technique.

i was in the bad , i was seek , yeap i tryed once , it didn`t work ... i emailed about it as well. i was back to bad.. Now i`m feeling a bit better , but still not good as i would like to continiue with my routines. (yes , that means no new projects for a couple of days !-be happy )

p.s. i`m soon going to buy an "unlimited" space on apach with "unlimited" bandwith , now what that "unlimited" really means , i`m not sure..but it should be enough.. i`l be hosting smf or maby phpbb , but i`m looking for a LESS used alternative as my forums on my site.
