DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / should i get dbpro??

i was wondering if i should shell out the extra money for dbpro or should i get db and possibly upgrade later, i've had very little programming experience but am keen to learn.

DBPro is just as easy to use as DarkBASIC. You can get DBP for £50 from Amazon, but it will cost you £70 overall if you go for DBClassic first, then DBP.

Try the demo out and follow the tutorials and see what you can manage. If you need any help that you cannot find in the help files then search the RGT boards (www.realgametools.net/forums) or post a question in the newcomers section here.

Go for DBPro, even if you are learning. The interface is probably easier to learn anyway, and more graphically impressive results are possible quicker, so it'll prolly help you. Plus if you started with DBC, most of your programs wouldn't translate well in2 Pro when u upgraded - trust me I tried
