How helpful would this book be to me and my team if we wish to make a game with graphics on par with halo? Thanks.

Well, that book won't get you anywhere near Halo, I can tell you that. You'll need software capable of making models, knowledge of that program, and lots of patience and hard work. (Modelling, Texturing, Animating, Coding) Hope you've got a team. Good luck, btw.

P.S. This is what the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

You might not like me suggesting this, but if the graphics team are of a quality that could produce Halo, but the programming team are of a quality that would benefit from that book then there is a definate mismatch in skills.

Your graphics artists are better off with a more experienced team or if they are the same people - sadling up with a more advanced programmer and just learn to code as a hobby.

It takes as many years to learn to code well as it does to model well.

The we are all in the same boat, since they are good artists but they have yet to learn the tools. I can make code but I have yet to learn the language. Thanks btw.
