I finally got it to work, but when I try to use my level, I get the Windows XP "blahblah.exe has encountered an error"

Whats the problem?

Some other function you are using is causing it to crash. I'm just waiting for Patch #2 to do any "real" programming in DBPro. Mine crashes if I use a gosub.

sorry, but no..

I've tried the view map program included (if you launch it manually ,it brings and Open File window), and also tried loading it into the FPS demo. same results.

Well, sorry to try to offer a suggestion. When I make a level.x and convert it with the convertor, if both messages come back OK, then it load fine. However, I have had OTHER functions make the program crash like you said. GOSUB being one of them.

I apologize if I sounded rude.

Yes, I get that as well, so I see where your coming from. I get the error with gosubs as well, and checklists seem to be a bit buggy too.
