is it possible to have a jump pad script similar to the ones in quake3&4 multiplayer? I would also like accelerator pad that fling the player from one end of the map to another.

Both must be reusable in MP maps

No Scripts in Multiplayer, because there are no Dynamic entities other than Players, Weapons, and Ammo.
All other objects are static, so they can't run a script.

but couldnt you use a lift? make the lift invisible and make it follow a wappoint when stepped on. make the lifts speed 500 or sumthing?

MP fully supports script, lee just doesn't want you to know that.

Didn't I edit my jetpack to be a jump pad? Didn't I post it?

Your exact words "jump pad" was the title of the thread... here is the resultant script
