In the team script I'm looking for, on your team there is 2 people, and they stay with you all the time, and when you are they spot the enemy anywhere around the level they shoot them until they die, and etc. And also, when you die, you take role of another character in your team...

Now how's that?

Knock me down I'll get right back up again, Come back stronger than a powered up pacman...

That may be, near impossible because i hear <or saw> somewhere that scripts cannot "switch" objects.I think.

Thats right. Can switch textures but not objects.

It has to be an illusion.
The engine is not designed for the enemies to do damage to each other.
It is impossible at the moment to do so, BUT there is a work around.
If they are simply aimed at each other and firing then a timer can determine who gets their destroy script called.
They would actually kill themselves with their own AIMAIN, but it would appear that they died in combat.

Hehehe...

Huds can represent which character you are at the moment.
Another illusion is created that the player changes characters, but he just got relocated and the Hud changed.
As long as they were carying the same weapons, you're ok.
Those will have to remain the same when you switch.


Don't ask me to write the script, because I won't.
I abandoned this project due to a conflict of interest with Merranvo.

Can someone try to do that? I would love to but thats far to advanced for me.

The Allies Script was Merranvo's puppy.
He got upset when I announced that I had plans for one, so I dropped it.
I think he is working hard on something now, so maybe that's it.
Hard to tell.


I need one for myself anyway though, so maybe I'll make one after all.
First I need to finish what I started on that invisblity script though.
This switching characters idea is interesting too.

yhea i need a script like that to but were they follow you and were your far away they run to you and shoot at other enimies not player but when you die they die as well like in some horror game!
