Just noticed that tyler has 3 threads locked on 1 page of that forum! At the time of posting this, they're all in the top half too!

This has to be some kind of record doesn't it?

*shiver*

I seem to remember Rich even adding code to the forums to make it impossible to say his name. To go to that extreme means it was really that bad. That was before I was a mod, but I believe he was the reason we were given the ability to ban people

I lost interest in the forum just when CMC appeared. If anyone out there has a link or two to his posts I wouldn't mind seeing what they did to cause all the commotion. Searchiing just brings up multiple threads complaining about him.

Well now I'm a little curious, was it after 2004 that this "CMS" began his reign? Because I don't quite remember him (then again, my memory is fading in my old age ).

Z-interactive I remember

Maybe we should have a mandatory "play pen" or "creche" forum for all forumgoers who are either:

1. actually under the physical age of, say, 14;
2. have a mental or maturity age of less than 14, regardless of their physical age.

That way they can all scream and shout amongst themselves.

Cheer if you like bears! Cheer if you like jam sandwiches!

A record smashed by "new programmer" in the programming forum: 8 threads in the first page, 4 of which have been locked and now he's been banned.

Yeah, Tyler was being silly so he got banned for a little while. He'll be back.

I dont personally believe that is true. I have no problem with people struggling with english. Its not that easy-a-language to learn. My problem is with the pure stupidity of some people.

I've interested in this CMC guy - he is before my time! It amazes me that these people cant actually find something more productive to do - or at least something that doesn't reduce other people productivity!!

What does the mod's view of the forum look like? Or what do the controls look like for stuff all moddy? It'd be interesting to see a mod's view of the forums, compared to our dull, colorfull view.

We have options for nuking, destroying, assimilating, and evaporating users/threads/human beings. We also have this handy button called 'Electric Shock Noob'--- haven't tried that one yet. Wanna be my first?

Physical age of 14, I think people can be way more mature under that age. I just turned 14 a few months ago, but I think people would agree I've never been worthy of being exiled

The mods view is pretty much the same as everyone elses, except we have an extra edit button so we can edit anyones threads, and a little tool box down the bottom there that lets us lock posts, make stickies - like a little checkbox to select the posts then drop down lists to set choose the action. Banning is done on a seperate screen accesible through the profile. That's where Rich hid the weapon of mass deletion (the last place the US military would think to look).

The biggest difference is the moderators lounge, a secret underground forum loaded with top secret TGC info, like did anyone know of Lee's secret desires to live in a WWII bunker with a load of penguins?. It's great there, all the waffles you can eat and we get to mock everyone that isn't a mod .

Mnemonix: Oh my God, thanks for that link to the forum. I haven't laughed that hard in years, and I haven't gotten past the 10th post. I'm showing this to all my friends. *Starts crying out of joy* .

I bet it wasn't to funny when it happened here though. I bet people where like, "Is this guy kidding?".

All this makes me realize what a moron I've been on this forum. I've also gone under the name Stradigos and ArcAngel here. CattleRustler, remember that day when you pissed me off and then I made a post titled "Tribute to CattleRustler"? Lol, oooh what a noob I was. Needless to say after that 30 day noob slap I felt compelled to gain some composure .

Did Rich actually email his Dad? That would be hilarious.

Kind of cool to hear how the Mods interface is different. Never really knew that. You guys have your own lounge huh? Hardcore! Oh, by the way, everyone loves a conspiracy . Which is why this whole VP Cheney accidetly shooting his friend thing is still on the news. It's like watergate only not...

You know... as I'm reading on, I actually almost want to say that this kid was mentally challenged. But then again, that would be an understatement. This is by far one of the most amusing threads I've ever read!
