but when i try to run anything more complex than PRINT "HELLO"
the screen will just flicker couple of times and nothing else happens. And the code is correct! MAKE OBJECT CUBE 1,20

Well I had a 350Mhz amd with ATI 3D rage Pro Turbo and 128 megs ram. I could run almost anything.

Now i got (for free) a 300 mhz pention with 196 megs ram and gForce 2... now I run everything 5-10 times faster.

I had that problem, but only in win 2000.
Suggest you try getting all latest drivers, DB Patch and latest Windows Update.

Hope you have a fast connection and failing all that you'll have to speak nice to the DB team

System: Athlon TBird 800Mhz, 320MB RAM, GeForce 2MX440, DX8.1

I was using ME. (the most stable 9x OS if you use the correct drivers).

I think that you need a new AGP graphic adapter. With at least 8 megs of memory.

@ZigZag: Sorry to ask this obvious question, but is MAKE OBJECT CUBE 1,20 the complete code you are trying to run?

if so, then try this:

- If nothing sticks to teflon, then how do they make teflon stick to the pan???

ROFL, I can't believe you just said that windows ME was the most stable OS. 98SE is by far more stable then ME. ME runs a lot more extra services. WindowsXP is dwarfs them all in comparison though.
