Yea this is the Team Request board now. Probably should be put in the 3D section (Indi, Rich, someone?) But I suggest Milkshape cuz its only 20 bucks and its got all ya need. Theres also anim8or which is free, found at http://www.anim8or.com

Peace out!

I thought Blender looked pretty nice from what I could see. Don't know much about how it'd work for modelling for DB.

So at 3 years to learn how to model and 2 months to write your retro game in that should leave you 2 years, 13 months and 3 weeks late for the contest

You can program already can't you?

OK OK seriously, Milkshape is cheap and highly regarded around here ($12), although personally I preffer more expensive, complicated, and innanely pedantic tools that I will never fathom or understand because even when I look at a blank canvas the screen looks busy with icons so anyone walking past says wow that looks complicated.

I think he means a 3D creation program, this belongs in the 3D section.

This is from their faq.

Q3. Where is Metasequoia for Mac and Linux?

A3. It doesn't exist, and not exist forever, sorry. Please use Windows

Good English also

3DS Max. It may be expensive, but once you know how to create an object (click the button and resize in real time) and how to texture an objects (press M click the Map button and select a map out of which bitmap is an option) and export to .3ds it's the perfect modeller for DB. It can also do GIANT textures. It's nice 'n' easy to use, but changing the vertices of an object (it's really wicked what you can do with that) you have to have a steady hand in.

GMax is different. I don't know about it.

Maybe i just shouldn't have submitted this reply thingymujig. Maybe i should go away now...
