higgins, dude you need to chill man. teams are not for those who are lazy. Why would you have a team top 5 reasons:
1) to bring a different level of creativety
2) speed the process up
3) promote your game and site more efficiently, since everyone knows
someone and very few in a forum know the same people or sites to
promote on
4) compatability-people have different aspects they excell in
5) why not? teams are a great idea, they can be fun and they keep
ideas fresh.
and your right team requests are not allowed on these forums, I think this is due to the fact that most of the threads would mostly be spam threads *like this one* maybe the fact that this a developers site or supposed to be anyway. bottom line is if you want create a team request do the following:
1) post your game idea in the showcase board
2) give a few early screenshots and maybe a simple story line
3) add a link to your webpage or forum board and put a statement like this in front of the link "For more information about "your game" visit "your link".
by doing this you are not asking for a team request but you are giving people a chance to check out your website/forum which you are allowed to ask for a team request on. I know I just added to the spam but atleast my post has good information in it.
