I like it! A couple of minor suggestions (not that I'm qualified to make any, but...):
Reduce the dynamic entities - I didn't take a frame rate hit (I got a killer PC), but a lot of people will, I suspect.
Unless you want people to be able to fall through windows into space (that kind of ruins the "space station effect" for me, but you may be fine with it) or into a hangar or something else with no way to escape or die and have to restart the level, make some of the windows invincible. (Was that all one sentence?!)
This is kind of picky, but you may want to put a hurt zone around fires or have some script that kills the player if a window that opens to space is shot out. I wouldn't know how to do this, but you or some other scripty person may.
By the way, I always crash going into level 2. I just start into it, go maybe 100 feet, and get the runtime error.
Level 1 was promising; I can't wait for the rest!
