Regulars will know that Banshee Studios has already made one entry to the retro competition and we've nearly finished another, however...

I fancied doing writting a little game tonight, i'm not with the rest of the team or anything, I just had a long weekend and didn't fancy writting anything complicated like our other projects.

To make it a bit of a challenge I laid the gauntlet down and said it had to be finished in one night (afterall it can't interfere with Banshee's other projects) so, 4 hours later here we are - my own personal retro competition entry, a remake of the Spectrum game Splat!

Just one thing before you download, don't expect the usual Banshee standard of product - this was a game written from start to finish in 4 hours! Source code included.

Now that I have actually stopped long enough to play the game I decided to make some playability changes and a couple of small bug fixes.

If your Splat! doesn't say 'Version 1.01' in the top left corner on the Splat! screen then you might want to consider downloading again, although it is most probably you have already moved this download to your recycle bin!
