I'm sure many people use anim8or or Metasequoia for DB games...

If you do, how do you load *TEXTURED* objects into games?

whenever I texture objects in anim8or, save it as a .3ds file and then use the converter which comes with DB to convert the file into a .x file, all the texture information is lost.

whenever I texture objects in Metasequoia, I can then save the file straight away as a .x file, but then when I load the object into DB, the texture information is once again lost.

Surely someone uses textured objects made in either of these programs in DB?!

ps. I'm using DB version 1.08...I don't need to upgrade to the latest version do I?

You need to UV map the object Use Lithium Unwrap (do a search on google)

I personally use a copy of 3Ds Max 4.2, and I find you can UV map in the editor. Can't you do this with Metasoquia? Oh, and my other advice is, make sure the filename of your texture is no more than 8 characters +filetype (on pain of truncation ), and also that the texture's always in the same folder as the model. If that doesn't help, sorry, try that.. Lithiumy Unwrappy thingy and see if that works.
