Okay so if you follow the rules of BODMAS it can equal either, but it was my sum was it not? So I say it is:
(3 + 1) x 2 = 8

If you follow PEMDAS, then 3 + 1 x 2 equals 5. Only if it is (3 + 1) x 2 will it equal 8. And to be honest, isn't it really 299,792,458 m/s x 3 + 1 x 2?

Work this one out following BODMAS

3+3/289+(23+2[23-4+8{10^2+6}])-32+4=?

It would'nt run in DBP! So I had to take away two of the brackets and used this sum instead and all I got was 0
3+3/289+(23+2)-32+4
Weird that it didn't work!

ok the math problem 32x(3+2)-36+(43-23)=144

remember guys follow the order of operations. and in PEMDAS it goes () exponent x divied + - when it comes to X and divide and + - the X or + wont go first you have to read it left to right so say if X was infron t of divide then you would multiply.

ohhh im a good teacher arnt i.

ohhhhhhhh you gusy wish that you can do math problems like that.

P - Parenthesis
E - Exponents
M - Multiplication
D - Division
A - Addition
S - Subtraction

It's the same thing essentially, you do anything in parenthesis first, then the exponents, then from left to right multiplication OR divisioin, then from left to right addition OR subtraction.
