12.03156, although I'm sure that actually taking a test to see if your a geek, on your own free will, probably increases your percentage.

I just noticed that I also have a wide collection of Pokemon cards, Magic cards, a Monty Python film, some music CDs, about 10 computer games, an old CRT monitor, and a board I made for DnD on that same bookshelf

I got a 20%. But some of them are stupid. Like the chemistry ones. Can I help it that my mom teaches chemistry? That I'm required to learn chemistry in school. Sure I can help that I do it on an AP level but still...

Well maybe because some of us spent a good few years founding/being in science and computer clubs, along with playing 36 hour sessions of DnD, performing music, reading, and programming to boot.

The test is flawed. The questions that ask you about if you're going out with or have married a geeky girl are ok, but there should also be a "I've never had a girlfriend" tickbox. Ticking it adds like, 60% to your score.

Mind you, I got to tick those five boxes at the end because I'm female. The test is very old now though, and some of it is becoming less relevant.

oh dear...that must be wrong, I can see some flaws in the execution and like you say it seems to be out of date in places, plus some of that stuff that rates as geeky was normal in my youth, and anyone builds their own PC/Car/Network/Computer cluster etc...don`t they?

If you get 100% it calls you a liar. No, I didn't click every single box, I checked the source... that should probably give me more geek points.

alas I am that geeky I didn`t think to look at the source (it wouldn`t have been that good anyway) since I was working out my own version and how I would code it , you could write it to try and provide a whole personality profile for the user and suggest a suitable lifestyle, then link it too employment websites so it can suggest positions you could apply for, then it could use the profile to create an entry that could be automaticaly entered into dating sites with the best possibility of finding a suitable mate, profile the best bank account for you and apply for an account for you and then order your clothes and car online to suit your improved lifestyle
