Hi, i'm back to present you the second version of my successful tutorial level that you can all use in your games; this time a seperate EXE.

I've added some new challenges and re-done the V/Os. This has also been a test of menus and screen so all the menus and loading screens are custom (not the buttons though). I've been a bit more creative with this version and i hope you'll appreciate it.

I'm going to upload it now but in the meantime, i have some screenshots to satisfy your almost unquenchable thirst for good games.

I didn't lower the pitch on the voices this time round because i had a cold and had quite a husky voice.

AE,
Youve DONE IT AGAIN damnit man! Congrats!
I'm downloading now-will tell you what I think one ive tried it,
Tom

EDIT: Alright, i've poked, prodded and played about with your level for a while, and i've found out many things.
GOOD:
-All windows unbreakable-I know. I checked
-Good level design
-Fixed that bug with door going into glass window
-Timing with speech well placed
BAD:
-In the ladder room, where the player must get to the top of the room, the Colonel X character is set in the glass section, surrounded by walls. How the hell did he get in?! Place a door on the other side of it to make it seem realistic.
-Rails at top of that room look weird on the corner
-Structures just after 'get to top' room won't exactly keep the player out (see attached Screenshot)
-The door with the key. A script has been made which changes the door message from the door locked one to the PRESS ENTER TO USE one ONLY once the key for it has been found. I will try to find it for you, and will edit this post and give you the link for it if I do manage to find it.
Overall, this is looking pretty damn good!

AE,
Sorry about the no screenshot-basically, I could crawl under the StructureA entities you place to keep the player out of that little section with the green container in it. Also, don't forget to add a door in that bit where the guy is during the get to top of room section.

If you've read the April newsletter there's a competition by PCZONE to win lots of gaming stuff and a new pc. The challenge is to make a level that can be completed in 5 mins and a panel of experts will judge it.

I'm thinking of entering Basic training MK 2.5 (MK 2 with a few adjustments) or the opening level of blanc point (that one needs a bit of work).
