What image should I use for the bump map of an object? Whatever I try to use seems to turn the object completely black. Any info on bump mapping would be appreciated.

Btw I have a GeForce 2 mx 400 32mb card, which I thought supported bump mapping. The bump mapping test in 3D mark 2000 works fine anyway.

GeForce 2MX cards only support DOT 3 bump mapping and not environment bumpmapping.
