Press Print Screen and it appears.
Nice shadows. Only bad thing is all of those entities in the screenie have to be dynamic. Is that a real bumpmap in the wall or is it just a texture that looks like bumpmapped?

why not have the hands open with palms up and put health in one and ammo in the other.

Gotta say im not hugely into the hands thing either. And as nice as the shadows look, there are an awful lot of random items in that scene.
Everyone can puts some objects and a light in a room and dynamic light map it, thats easy. What you need to strive for is atmosphere.

awful lot of random items ?!?!? lol ...not really dude
Okay...here we go butter fingers. Make some nice screenie with custom wall textures and ground textures. both bumpmapped. and then try to create a nice hud on your own. aaand then set in someting like this cigarette thing and make a screenshot, facing into a corner. maybe with some shadows and please please please without that bad graffiti crap.

And by the way...wheres the atmosphere on your screenshots ?
Theres none !?!
So, please dont tell me ive got to strive for atmosphere. 'kay ?

yeah...thats the ticket !

i didn't wanna offend you... it's just that, well, theres a floppy disk balanced on it's edge, and then the old 1930's pictures and the new cigarette machine, i thought it looked a bit jumbled.

I think you should add a frame of blood that surrounds the screen.

you got some really nice looking stuff there, and all i can read is posts about the cigarette machine, or other nonesensical crap...

that's some really nice artwork, and your shadows implementation really adds to the scene...

it's a wip right, so i assume that you know that there are a few areas that need addressing... but overall, it's looks better than most of the fpsc stuff posted...

something i told another guy here...

don't pay any attention to these people who like to use the phrases 'it looks like crap' and 'it sucks' so often when critiquing other peoples work.... most of them couldn't model a cube properly themselves, and wouldn't admit it even if someone elses work looked really good in the first place, not that they'd even be able to recognize good work in the first place...

good luck with this

thanks mike !

i am always open for constructive critique. And yes, the screenshots are only to show the bump shader on my segments.
When i got all my textures and stuff into fpsc i will start with my game. And i am not speaking of a 3 or 5 level game. i really want to try to make it comemrcial. and i think thats possible with fpsc. maybe a little bit tricky but possible

thanks a lot

yeah...thats the ticket !

Now that's what i want to see with FPSC, Mr Flowerkohl!
Great ambiance, i should try to add some segments with bumpmapping, i'd love to see some FEAR-like ambiance in my FPSC

Thanks a lot !

So , it took me a few hours to figure out how normalmapping works with FPSC. i could write a small tutorial if you want. but, this all is explained very wel in the segment editors avi files.
you just need 3 textures of the same wall
for example :

Wall_D
Wall_D2
Wall_N

The _D , _D2 _N is very important. The name of your wall in front doesnt matter. The _D texture should be a little bit brighter than the D2 one...that it looks like it has no shadows. The _N texture is the importanst of all. The normalmap. You could easily create a normalmap with gimp.

yeah...thats the ticket !

Hey man, Do the box's move at all, or they static, if they could only move, i'd cum myself. FPS with ragdolls and bumpmapping is the shiiiiit. I gonna try on rag dolls, and export and import from Dues Ex 2.

Has someone recently made ragdolls?
