Okay, so nobody here cares. So?
Anyway the most you could get wrong was 8, I got 4 wrong. Idiota handbook. Anyway, if you'd like to be added on to my list of all people I call before I'm on the road- that way you know to get off, feel free to post .

Same here.

I don't think it's safe having you driving either. Do us a favour and don't do it.

Ok, for both of you:

- How old are you? (if your driving, then you surely must be old enough to post your age. Otherwise see question 2)

- How old do you need to be in order to drive in whatever crazy US state you live in? And by drive, what are you driving? (A car? A moped?)

Try (for me) Ford F-150, same with TDP, I am not 14.
So,
TDP is 16 (Most LIkely)
Megaton Cat is 16
And I'm 16
So, until that gets deleted by the AUP, we're all 16.
Oh, and TDP and I are in the US, so I don't know about the Europe area, but 16 is for most people here. Not sure though about Canada.

I barely was able to drive today. lol

well i know im older than drew, b/c at least in minnesota, a written test only give you your insturcional permit, which allows you to drive with a 21+ aged person in the passenger seat, then at 16 you take the road examination, at least thats minnesota, every state is different, but im pretty sure in most states thwe wrriten test just gives you your permit, not your liscense

oh, I am a late starter for taking the permit. The maximum age here in California is 18, so I didn't want to wait until I was 18 to get my license.

Anyway I can get my license when I wait 6 more months. Wait, so how old are you TDP, I mean, Minnesota and California have different ages and stuff.

BTW - I had to pass driver training and written test at the Drivers Ed program to even go to DMV.

It's funny, a week ago i took it without studied and failed, 13 wrong. minimum wrong you could get was 8. Now I took the test with some studying and got 4 wrong. One question I answered stupid. Anyway, like Megaton Cat said, I think the world is safer with both of us off the road, lol. The test is pretty easy though, after looking at it. IT's pure logic and what is the safest answer.

Drew G, like you, is a forum member. The reason people are surprised he's old enough to drive is because, if I remember correctly, his first few posts went along the lines of "OMG the US Navy Seals are sooo sweet I wanna wet my pants. They flip out for no reason, and they kill everyone. Who else here thinks the US Navy Seals are the best armed forces in the world? If you disagree, you suck."

I'm obviously paraphrasing, but the gist of his first dozen posts pretty much centered around his (apparently childish) fascination.

I failed because I did NO studying at all. Plus, I was in a rush, if I didn't hurry I would be late for a certain commitment that day.

OH, I remember now, about those posts, they are perfectly explainable. That is why I am taking time to carefully write this delicately mannered list.

-One, first of all, I was new to the forums and bored that day, and plus, all of those Mod posts saying they liked Mall Security guards was annoying as heck. That's the primary reason for my continuation on that particular topic

-Second,(wait... you actually read all that stuff I posted, whoa..) I was bored that day, and then again, look at this. So by that thread being one of my first, as well as this forum being one of my first, I was an annoying noob. I mean, can you blame me, and if you do, you were never a noob in your life? I know it's hard to believe I'm that old because of my posts.

-Lastly, sorry if I seemed to upset you with all that crud. Have a nice day adr.

Oh and yeah, I remember more clearly, blame this site for why I posted a majority of that crud. There you have it. Tell me if that is not inspirational. Click the yes when you go to that site.

IT's pretty weird, after the first time, someone gave me their brother's and sister's old tests so I looked at those and did some studying from the handbook.

@David R
I found that site from a worker at bungie, who listed it has his favorite site. And, no, it was inspirational from the very top, flipping out.

I failed my first written test too--- 10 years ago. One of the questions was: "If you're driving on a road and a bunch of school children run on the road chasing a ball, what do you do?"

And the answers were something like: A - Speed Up, B - Completely stop until the children are off the road, C - Slow down until the children are off the road.

I picked B, but the correct answer was C. Anyways, those kinds of trick questions were all over the written test.

In California, I took my written test when I was 18, aced it, then took my behind the wheel test, and it was extremely easy. Which explains the accident mortality rate in California. (Got into 3 accidents within 6 months of having my license, was a while ago, I've learned lol) They pretty much dish out licenses by the truckload around here, and though its extremely unsafe (I know how my friends drive, and they're the moderate drivers), theres naught I can do but invest in really strong seatbelts.

I totally would have picked "A"...seems logical to me. Hmm...I wonder if the question actually stated if they were in front of you. Because if they were right next to you, and you slowed down, then they may accidentily run into the side of your car, injuring themselves in the process. So answer "A" is definitely the safest bet there.

My brother failed his, but still continues to drive - and he wonders why the police keep stopping him.

Because the police are out to get him and want their pay checks by picking on random people all the time, either that or he's breaking some sort of secret law

@Ben, sounds fair, if you do run over kids, make sure you get my neighbour's kids, their dog and well the parents will dent your car so I won't ask for too much

@Drew, read what you type and try to understand why people get annoyed with you, all those posts Megaton made that you are trying to condemn were out of his sense of humour, the principle was to be entertianing, and from reading the replies it just did that, I think you look at what he says literally, from experience I have barely seen a serious post from the guy.

Congrats on passing the test. Having taken the written test in Ohio and California, I can easily say California has the tougher one (I missed 7 on it vs. 1 on Ohio's).
Ironic, considering California's driving test was very easy. Just relax and don't kill anyone and it should be fine. Only surprise was I never would've expected them, but hand signals were on it, such as turning left, right, and stopping. I imagine it goes without saying that the state salute is out of the question =P
