Oh my joke is so ruined!!!
Cash Curtis II, mind you. My dad was Cash Curtis, and my son is Cash Curtis III.
I sometimes wonder about revealing my name though. My enemies will easily find me on Google now...

He also has an ET avatar and now lives in Canada.

I was pretty sure Jeku told him not to go there.

I used to have a ridiculously long name. The CDP used to be spelled out. The conciseness of BearCDP established my personality as something other than "that tard with the redickerously long name." I was 12 or 13 when I joined the forums, so I still have this name and a second email account for foruming. Very rarely do I give out my personal email.
I got Bear from Halo. I just picked Default for a profile and my name popped up as "The Bear." Me, being only about 12 or 13 thought that was the freakin' coolest thing in the world, I mean, c'mon, Bears like eat people man. So whenever I headshotted someone with the pistol I would yell across the room to the other TV, "I JUST ATE YOU NOOB." Heh heh. Since then I've enjoyed having a polar bear on my MySpace profile and looking like a Phillip impersonator.

I'm going to eat you!

Using your real name doesn't make you any cooler or more mature. Your name is the only way people look at you online (aside from your typing) so make it something catchy.

Agreeded.

Cash's name is catchy, but for some reason I always say Cash Curtis 2, not the second... isn't it supposed to be junior?

That's odd, I always thought it was "Cash Curtis Eye Eye", kinda funny, b/c his avatar has only one eye, so he has two eyes in his name as compensation or something.

Also his avatar reminds me of a pirate, who are known to exclaim "Aye Aye, captian!"

Haha, I never considered that. That would be a bit... freaky...

Quote: "Also his avatar reminds me of a pirate, who are known to exclaim "Aye Aye, captian!""

That's no accident. I searched for days for just the right avatar when I joined. However, I AM the captain.
[Edit]
I should explain. I wanted a pirate, but not the usual scurvy peg legged pirate. I wanted a modern, artificial (computerized??? ) pirate. A little Metro even (I'm not Metro).

Quote: "Cash's name is catchy, but for some reason I always say Cash Curtis 2, not the second... isn't it supposed to be junior?"

My dad didn't like junior, so he just skipped it. That's why anyone named Cash Curtis is so fabulous, because crappy conventions just don't matter to us.

Quote: "Hey Cash, you got a bunch of guys talking about your name. Grats to that."
It's actually a great ice breaker, especially when I'm trying to flirt with someone I don't know. I tell them my name, then start busting out Cash jokes from my repertoire.

I changed my name on here to my real name for about 8 hours, then switched it back. Don't want anyone stealin' my pseudonym from under me!

Quote: "How about having multiple forum identities? Does that make you cool?"

That just seems odd to me. Now, I'm only talking about secret identities. Like, anything I do with my main account won't count for my second account. And eventually, I'd get called out my a mod, then I'd feel like a big loser. The worst has to be when someone comments on their own thread as their other identity. LOSER!!!!

Cash Curtis II is only here to make games, and hand out a few vigilante noob slaps. I don't even like internet chat. One of Lucifer's demons was a condemned nerd and he actually invented it while he was getting it from behind by the devil. So, this is the only place on the internet that has the privilege of my presence.

Mathematics (as we know it) does not currently support numbers large enough to show how big that "if" is.

I changed my forum name once because I left these forums for a while, and by the time I came back, most every means you could talk to me on had the name Saikoro, so it was only fitting.

For me it's similar to naming your character in a game. Just doesn't have the same feeling to me if the game says "With one mighty swing you slay the dragon of Fnarr! Well done Kevin of Essex, and may the bounty found within the dungeon of Boris from Bagshot help you overcome the bitterness of losing the lovely Betty of Slough".

It's not as if I'm saying I'm constantly sitting here in some sort of fantasy land (well with most of you anyways ) but it just makes things that little bit more fun. I only named myself here very similar to my real name because I first joined thinking it would be mainly serious. Was either that or my other cunning staple MUD name from years ago of Nerrad. Oh yes. Cunning as a cunning fox going to cunning university to study... you get the idea. I'd change it to Crivens (I like to run around when bored at work talking Scottishly) now to keep it in line with all my other forum IDs, but I agree with the previous comment about having a ID that doesn't change, and mine is over half a decade old now here (2000 I believe). Golly. Erm, must.... leave.... computer..... alone..... more.....

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
