Nice stuff! Looks good, finally some non stock media. I've never played Quake 2 and the first doom and quake aren't that fresh in my mind, so if you don't mind me asking, did you create the textures or are they from another game?

Wherever they came from they look good, but the fpsc door isn't matching.

Sounds cool! Hopefully you'll find some spare time to do so.

@Avenging Eagle, you're getting somewhat anoying highjacking any thread you can to promote your crosshair pack.

I wouldn't call it hyjacking, its just a bit of advertising.

PocoRev, i really like these texture as no one else has really done something like this before (except perhaps jiffy). Quake is renound for having alot of brown in it, especailly quake 2. Some of the texture aren't 100% seamless but i'm sure they can be altered.

Are you going to have some custom monsters?

I have to agree with Benjamin A, even thought I dont like him that much. Avenging Eagle can you stop posting your crosshair pack in every ones thread, its really annoying. Do you really need the money that bad? If people where going to buy it, they would have. Maybe the idea of a crosshair pack wasnt a good idea, as people want models more than a few easily made crosshairs any one could make in an hour.

--

PocoRev, I love all the old quake and doom games, plus all the games made from their engines. Keep on building that game, but the only thing I would ask you to improve, would be to make the textures seamless so they match up around corners and alonf walls.

Benjamin A, i meant you...

I downloaded project luna and commander josh today and i must have got the two confused, i apoligise. Your game was definately better and i recognizes some of the textures from darkmatter. Infact, the textures in these screenshots are in a similar style too.

And Higgins + all other people who thought i was hyjacking:

PocoRev and i are negotiating a trade at this very minute all because of my post. I've made over &15 out of this pack (for a £2 pack that has 30p deducted by paypal, that's not bad) and i would like to make more. No, i don't need the money that badly but people are buying it so why can't i keep plugging it. I, like pretty much everyone who is selling a pack, am in business to make money.

Yes but it is becoming very annoying. Don't say your not highjacking threads, because you ARE. Just about every thread in Showcase i've read, YOU have posted in it and highjacked it, saying about your Crosshairs and how people should buy them. in the video, it says that they work with FPSC immediately, but later on it says: When you purchase the crosshair pack, you receieve 40 quality crosshairs that work with FPSC ALMOST immediately. Doesn't make sense. In my opinion, they don't look all that great.

Well i made the demo vid before the pack had been completed so i kinda got it wrong. But even so, i said in the video that it came with a tutorial on getting them into FPSC: It did.

Maybe you're a little thick but you can't get them into FPSC with just a flick of a wand, you have to select what gun you want the crosshair to belong to (but with the tutorial, this is almost immediate).

Once you've done this, the contents of this pack are yours to love and cherish and sell. It saves you a job, and its cheap as chips. Also, i don't take up half a page advertising the pack; its a simple sentence with an imbedded link (short but effective).

Now lets not turn this into a flame war,

If I was trying to say they look crap, I COULD DO A LOT BETTER, then WHY in holy hell did I say this:
Quote: "In my opinion, they don't look all that great."

I quote again, just in case you didn't get the IMPORTANT part of it:
Quote: "In my opinion"

In MY opinion. I wasn't trying to speak for the whole community at all, was I?!

Pallmanni, you misunderstood my meaning. I did not mean that if I was trying to say they looked crap, I could have said it a lot better-what I meant was, if I was trying to say they looked crap, I could make crosshairs which are so much better.
