Hello everyone, first of all I must thank everyone for thier positive, and constructive feedback on The Undead helping me further develop the game better.
I am now proud to unveil my next game, Dead On The Streets.
Teaser:
Dead On The Streets is about a SWAT team who thaught they were on a routine mission, but thats been heard a hundred times before, obviosly something goes wrong; but what, how is this different? Well just forget about that for now, and think about when it all comes together which way will you choose, will you do it the easy way or the right way that choice is yours...

Hope your as exited about this as I am, and about the teaser; if your confused just wait time will tell what im talking about...

Here are some establishing shots for now, more (actual gameplay) will be posted tommorow.

P.S This is not a sequel to The Undead, I could'nt think of a good way to continue on that.

Bravo, looks to be an interesting game. One quick question. To what extent are you planning on implementing squad based play? (i.e. will the player have the ability to give orders to the SWAT team, will they just follow the player around and shoot at enemies, or will they do nothing at all)?

Those are some cool screenies Natflash . I got a dumb question how do you make one part of the map all dark and the other light, when I put lights on the map and have the color on black set they just don't work? Can you help me .

Sigh* Ok Naiad there is NO squad play until Riker9 comes out.
The best you can do is have them follow you and maybe heal.

@Natflash Lookin good! Keep up the good work.

Story sounds like my old game Hidden in Darkness. Well, that doesn't bother me.
Looks great so far! Keep it up. You may want to add some more entities to your level though.

As I said it doesn't bother me that this game has almost similar storyline.

Here is the link to Hidden in Darkness:

It is a newer thread. Storyline is in old one. Old one is called Rise of Terrorism but I chanced name of the game.

The Story line has been changed due to the Allies problem, it now goes like this.

You are part of a SWAT team sent in on what was thaught to be a routine mission, but since when do routine missions actually stick to the routine, obviously something goes wrong, resaulting in your team suddenly going crazy and turning against you, you have no choice but to kill them all...

The game will have multiple paths you can choose which path you take, wether it be the right way, or the easy way.

@Jrock
I've only downloaded the demo but don't have it installed. Thanks for the info, I wasn't sure if it was possible to write a script that would give the Team the capability to shoot at other enemies.

Keep up the good work Natflash, it looks promising. If you don't mind me suggesting I have an idea for the storyline: Your SWAT team was on a routine mission and your team was ambushed, some of your SWATmates died but a few were captured . During the ambush you were seperated from your team and you are the only man left. You now have to locate and free your captured SWATmates . What do you think? If you don't like it don't use it.

None, the swat characters die in the first level, but this may take a while as im learning Dark Basic, and I want to make the Sin City game in 3rd person with a nice shader effect for the screen.

Woah Cal Man, easy there. Almost every thread I look at you've bumped it and said how do I do this how do I do that.

Give a man some bullets, and he'll want a gun. Give a man a gun and he'll be giving away the bullets!!
