Hi,
I was wondering, if its possible to make a script, that makes a gun, act like the HL2 Gravity gun?
Not nescessarily to drag stuff, but to pick stuff up with it, and "shoot" it.
Would that be a Hard script to make?
Thanks
Essal

As far as the average user is concerned player control is largely tied into the source and that includes both picking up objects and putaway of the weapon at that time or so I believe.

There are reasons for this lack of control to the end user and why we also dont have an actual player too.

With improvements to the engine this may change at some future date if TGC see that as part of any development plan to allow more flexibility to the end user. I am not sure this will be the case however - as I suggested they have their reasons.

In the mean time I am not sure that if a user were to have some in depth knowledge or experience of DBPro and the FPSC source they might be able to make some effort to achieve some limited control of the non real player by editing the setup.ini file appropriately.

No idea if it may provide any suceess though, sorry.
