im not sure, the gun itself is free, so adding it to the pack with just the addition of hands may not seem a good idea.

but i will include other scifi guns like this in vol. 2, which i have yet to design.

Well, you could still include it as a bonus for buyers ... the free version does not have arms and hands ("lite version") but by buying the pack buyers get the "full" one ...

Bon1 Gave out a free CCTV Camera, he then included it in his official FPSC Pack. There wouldnt be any harm in adding it, it would just save people the time it would take to find or download.

Well, it is not only about quantity, since fully animated guns (I mean, with animated arms and hands) give extra added value to a very good pack ... it takes it to the next level ...

Jon, could you see if you could fix the P Rifle so that it doesn't crash the game when you put an NPC in? This rifle would be perfect for my game and the only thing that is keeping me from using it is the fact that it's...well...crashing my game lol.

its a very confusing error, i have no idea on how adding a weapon affects a completely different character

i know i know...

iv'e been through alot lately though...
two computers, an iPod, my printer, my lava lamp, my joystick, my disco ball, my clock and my laser pointer were stolen in the same week...

enough to give anyone a bad mood

First, well done Jon, you've done it again.
Second, here you go, I made a specular map for those of you who like to use Shaders on guns (which can be done seperately) I love specular shaders on guns, but just makes everything else look crap so I have them on guns but nothing else.
Just throw all these files in the PLASMA RIFLE folder

alright, i'll have to export the VWEAP file, when i get home, i just need a base model for the scale and such, btw, thanks for bumping the thread

it seems people are really dependant on such a small update, and cant really make a VWEAP without me, lol, none the less i'll do so...

ys, in time, i got out of my maths (non-calculator) exam hours back and i got 2 more exams tommorow, so as for the forums and any new stuff, i wont be posting as much work as usual.

though i am working on a character model which is going very well right now, but it will be a while untill i have time to texture

when i get the time, i'll make the VWEAP

not entirely sure, it kind of spawned off of my box modelling experiences, basically starting with a box and extruding faces and such

crow posted a character tutorial a while back, i'll see if i can get the link...
