Can someone explain what the two variables in the command raycast stands for? Is X and Y left and right or what? And when do you use - in front of a value?

x = starting point
y = ending point

and this is in reference to the entity location.


Raycast generates a ray and casts it forward... lol. It returns true if a collsion occurs in the field presented. It has also been known to cause FPS issues so constant raycasting over multiple enemys could cause an FPS drop. However periodic raycasting manages the load much better.
