I'm not a big fan of Caterhams. I wouldn't dismiss it, but it's definitely not the car for me. It's got a unique look which is in its favour, but it's not a look I really like. I find it a bit too impractical too, and the classic, although quick, isn't THAT quick. I mean, my Civic has the same BHP, a much lower acceleration, but the same top speed. And if you crash into a blade of grass in a Caterham, you're liable to be complete mangled.
So, for me, it's a cool little car to show off in, but that's about it!
Edit: Oops, forgot to mention the price is great on Caterhams though, especially if you build them yourself.
Edit 2: UHh .... but just seen they're insurance group 20! So if you're just turning 17 and you can find someone to insure you on it, you're probably looking at £2000 - £3000!!!!!
