I was just wondering, but after all their so called claims that they try to protect you even from the simplest attacker, spam emails; Can Hotmail be hacked?

Ive done a little browsing on some other forums, and they're like "Quit asking about hacking hotmail! You cant!" while others say "Only the real hacker can do it."

I wouldn't even bother. No-one'll give you respect for it anyway. Try hacking a bank or the US government. I mean, webmail?! The FBI'll just laugh at you!

remember the one and only truth. anywhere between 70%-90% of people online are idiots. That being said, ignore what a lot of people tell you about things being impossible.

Yes, you can hack a sever... there are many ways to do this, but the best way is social engineering. Find someone who knows the sever password and beat the crap out of him.

Oh... you are talking about intercepting an email? Once again, possible. I'm not sure exactally how, but even if I did know it is sure to be against the AUP. I don't really consiter my social engineering method against the AUP because... seriously... you probally already knew that.

Spam is easy... just type a regular message and make it invisible using html coding (<font color=white>. then type "CLICK HERE FREE PRON" + url. (pron is important. Porn is a censored word and triggers "spam" in the filters.

The internet is not safe. Remember that.

Hotmail can be hacked easy. I looked over my ex-gfs shoulder as she typed in her password. Now I have full hacked access to her email. I am ninja. I am elite.

Lol I once found a list to hacking hotmail accounts, most of them were links to programs that you can type your guesses in for the passwords, and the only advantage it gives you is to tell you if the pass was right or wrong, only directly.

Well, as much as I like the social engineering method, but you're buggered if they have a gun...And to be honest, I tried that method and I am posting this message from Hell (AKA my computer) as I am dead, so don't trying, Bill Gates was at his computer with a mouse in one hand, typing in the middle two and holding a gun in his last hand (yes he has 4 hands, a secret no one has lived to tell the tale of...not even myself) While I was there I did catch the server password; it is 'I love Steve Jobs', try it and it will certianly work.

And whilst I was there I saw some disturbing things;
-Real life Pokemon trapped in a cage
-Employees using Mac OS and Linux, not Windows
-Lemmings enslaved to develop software and some working on Vista, the reason it is late is because many Lemmings died on their business trip to the alps...who'd thought so many lemmings would jump off of a mountain.
-Barbara Streisand is listened to all day long in the office block
-And Bill Gates isn't really who he say he is, Medusa is.

Hotmail can be hacked, this is how you do it:

Open up a browser and go to hotmail, then press Alt + F4 and you shall have full access to the hotmail server.

While I was in college, one of my friends installed a Keylogger onto this kids computer to try to get his password, but the stupid git forgot how to access the program to see what people had typed.

About 10 years ago there was a method of easily "hacking" hotmail. It involved sending a spoofed email header to a certain hotmail address that was setup to process database querries from internal hotmail employees. All you had to do was place something like "Reset PWD" in the subject and place the username and a new password in the body. (in a specific way which I can't remember).

The server would change the password, locking out the real user and giving you access using the new password. It was important to spoof certain header strings so the server would think you were a valid employee.

They caught on to it after a couple months so don't try this at home.

I remember years ago when getting into someone else's hotmail account wasn't very difficult, but today I feel its quite secure.

Well, that's why you use pr0n (pee arr zero enn), not prOn (pee arr oh en). PR0N vs PRON, it's a slight difference but it's plenty to throw off junk filters.

So besides tricking others using professional emails, are there any programs? I heard that if one logged into his email, and someone else copied the Url and pasted in some new browser, it would lead him to the same page, that method doesn't work though

and they will trace your mac address hardware. universally stupid to think a wifi spot will save you.

a very old laptop without machine hardware address's with a phone acoustic coupler, a telnet/ssh for anon proxy to a russian server, would be semi 1337, but still universally stupid.
