Well I'm 28, and very serious in getting this game redone. Giv eme just a little bit as we are in the process of moving. Shoudl be all set to get started in about a week. Then we'll get in touch and discuss the project. BTW the original game is in C++, just as a heads up.

There is a 3D object to sprite render thing in the works, check the WIP forum, but these things can really help speed up development.

I'd much rather make and animate a 3D character than try to draw one, the results are more accurate, and you can simply add extra details later.
