How does your name (our actual one or forum name) translate into the real world?

Behold the Bagger 228, 13500 tonnes of ball-stomping engineering mastery. It is the largest tracked vehicle in the world and can happily chew through over 17 times it's own weight of earth in a day.

So what about about your name, anything interesting sharing it? If this is a crap topic for a thread lets bask in how efficient German machinery can be and other huge things man has built.

My forum name came from the latest Anthony Horrowitz Book, my previous forum name being Ravens gate, his previous novel

Ravens Gate:

A sinister story of the supernatural; first of five in a thrilling new series by this number-one best-selling author. Matt has always known he has unusual powers. Raised in foster care, he is sent to Yorkshire on a rehabilitation programme, only to find himself in the midst of sinister goings-on. Matt investigates and uncovers a terrible secret - eight guardians are protecting the world from the evil ones, beings banished long ago by five children. But devil worshippers want to let the evil ones back in. As the story reaches its climax, it looks like Matt has succeeded in stopping them...or has he? Major marketing campaign with 6-sheet advertising to launch this gripping new series. Guaranteed

Well, Bahamut is a kickass dragon. I felt like a change of name from spot_the_dog (I used to have pretty bad acne (sp?)) so I just thought if in doubt, name yourself after a dragon.

Not much interesting behind it unfortunately.

Cattle Rustler is actually short for "Big Ol' Bad Ass Bob, The Cattle Rustler". He's one of the nutty characters invented by The Jerky Boys. His debut appearance is on Jerky Boys 3 - I peed my pants when I first heard him (John Brennan does his voice)

Why would Baggers mean our real names, and then proceed to post an explanation of his forum name's relevance?

Not much to say about my name, Im starting to hate it. Some chinese guy bought my site and is trying to sell it back to me for 900 bucks, strange how I still advertise it. I just like the logo

Philbert McTwitch is a fictional guide squirrel that a guide dog buys in order to stop running his owner into lamp posts.

The dog & owner get pulled into a nut factory and are shelled alive...

Woah, that bagger thing is real?!? It looks like an early attempt at a battle mech lol

@ Musashi: I tried to read the book of the five rings but I couldn't get passed the Fire Book. He's like bragging at that point, when he's talking about "eh, I can take out ten guys, piece of cake, just slap some armor on me and I'm good to go" hehe Yet I get my forum battle style from Tai No Sen

My name comes from the Beastie Boys' Ad-Rock. When I was a goofy 14 year old my friends used to "sing" Beastie Boys songs and I always did Ad-Rock's parts, and from then on everyone always called me Matt Rock. On the radio it really stuck and I just gave up trying to say "hey, that's not my real name!" lol. So it's a nickname turned stage name turned screen name.

Edit: "Philbert," your name doesn't count, you change it every other bloody day

Well, I was about 10 when my brother called me "Mr. Dink" after the character in that Disney TV show Doug. At first I really really got annoyed by it. But everyone started calling me that, so I ended up learning to live with it. My first e-mail address was AgentDink_002, and I ended up shortening that to Agent_Dink for my forum name.

I'm working on a high res photorealistic texture pack. High res as in 7 megapixels, e-mail me with suggestions.

My name, for the 1000th time, is my real name in Japanese. Funny thing--- one day I got an email from someone whose name is Jeku Jacob, and he wanted my domain name. Hehehe. Sucker.

Well my name is actually the nickname of one of my old old friends. But my old name here, Stradigos was from the book Enders Game. A Stradigos was a military outer space stratigist. I think I spelled it differently than in the book though. There is a whole series of Enders game books, they are really good. It's about a kid military genious per say.

lol it practically is I almost wrote "Matt Rock" once on a friggin' DMV paper Funny story, I've known this kid Jason since, I dunno, high school I think, and he JUST found out what my real last name was about a year ago lol. Besides my parents no one ever refers to me by my real last name, which some people find cool, but I personally find it kind of annoying at times. But hey, it could've been worse... my nickname could've been "genitals" or "knucklehead" so I guess I lucked out When you guys get my e-mails (from the three of you I've ever e-mailed hehe), do they come out as Matt Rock or do they post my real name? Maybe I should change it over lol.

@ Xander: I thought you got your name from the Comedy Central cartoon reality show "Drawn Together." On that show, Xander is a gay video game character kinda like Link no offense! "I'm on a never-ending quest to save my girlfriend!!!"
