When debugging a program the variable watcher won't show any vars contained within functions (which is lots for any more than a hello world program), if it does it seems very sporadic.

For instance when stepping through the following I am unable to determine what is held in the local variable 'result' in function addvalues( v1, v2 ), the debugger will only show 'a' & 'b' in the variable watcher.

I have experienced this problem from 5.9 -> 6.2b(current version). Haven't had any earlier versions so don't know if this problem exists prior to 5.9.

I'm having the same problem, every time I go into a function to really see what is going on, all I can see are the global variables....it looks like there should be more. What am I missing.
