you shouldnt go over 1500 polys for a gun, but it doesnt seem to matter. I have two arms and a rifle as part of my weapon and its over 2000 polys, Iam not too sure if it is though.

Wow, my model pack is going to contain a Beretta but I doubt it will be as good as yours. Good work mate If its any consolation I have trouble with modelling hands, in my opinion they are the most hardest "thing" to model.

thanks mate you are right about the hand modelling especially when you use milkshape but i dont think its that hard in 3ds max because the only thing you gatta di is extrude a box and apply a smoothing mesh i would get 3ds max if i could have effort it because im only 14 years old. but thanks anyway.

the G36 looks nice, however i can see the evidence of a small sized texture, perphaps from a small photo, what sizes are you using?

i made the texture by taking different render images then i have darkened it a bit in photoshop and saved it as a 512x512. what do you think of the SRAW is it good or not.

I only say: "The Hidden: Source" (there it is called "Subject 617")

some other names were also similar to the originals

i tell you: change their names, there is the danger of mistake

About your crates. It looks like you've actually modeled the frame on them, but your textures don't reflect that. On the second crate from the left you've got vertical boards running up on a horizontal frame, and the center beam just runs straight through the geometry as well. I always try to look at the little details and picture where the grains of the wood on the boards should be running.

MT; if you made that texture following the tutorial, then you managed to make an exact copy of it as there are several green areas that are in the exact same place as the author's. I don't see anywhere in the tutorial where the author gives permisson for his final texture to be used. This makes me a bit concerned about your other textures and their origin; which also makes me wonder about the originality of the models themselves. As I said, why would you model a frame on a crate and not use it in the texture?

I cannot stand it when people do this. If members where to use your pack, and the original creators of these textures/models were to find out...then they could be liable as well.

Quote: "All images within these pages (unless noted otherwise) are © Katherine Dinger.
None may be used without my written consent. Don't think I won't find out."

That was off of the main page of the author of the tutorial you got the image from. Do you have her written consent?

Please explain.

It's OK. It's always better to use your own work anyways; then nobody can touch you, and they know any future work you put out is genuine and original.
