hi,im trying to make my sphere roll in the direction its facing.
ive figured out how to rotate it using phy add rigid body torque, but i cant figure out how to make it roll toward the direction its facing.can someone post code to show me??

this is my movement code im trying to use:

it doesnt work,it always moves away from the cam..

Not sure as I haven't yet tried, but it could be you need to use phy add rigid body local force instead.

Cheers,

local force would be the way to go! There's generally a local version of every global technique.

i got this out of the local force help:

can someone explain what it means???

mode:

the method of force to apply from a selection of – 1, force, has unit of mass * distance / time ^ 2 2, impulse, has unit of mass * distance / time 3, velocity change, has unit of distance / time, effect is mass independent 4, smooth impulse, same as impulse but effect is applied over all substeps of physics update 5, acceleration, has unit of distance / time ^ 2, an acceleration, treated like a force except the mass is not divided out before integration

i figured out why it wont work,if the sphere rolls down so its front is facing down, the force is moving it down into the ground, etc.
