@Matt Rock

Quote: "I guess they staged 9/11 too? Guess what... I was in Manhattan that day and witnessed the events in front of my face. I have a scar on my forehead from where I was nicked by a piece of debris. And yes, there were two planes, before you try to spread more conspiracy theory nonesense."

I'm really sorry you had to witness that, as watching that was very horrific. However I wouldn't say everything that someone reports which is different from the US Government point of view of what happened as conspiracy theory.

One thing I am interested to know, if at Sept 11th, Why didn't NORAD fulfil its standard operating procedure and intercept the planes? Alot of 'conspiracy theorist' have also asked this, and it is an important question to ask I feel

Also what are you views on what Representative Cynthia McKinney asked Donald Rumfield about Missing Pentagon Trillions & 9/11 Wargames. Here is a link for the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2XRjP7jGmg

Some of the questions are valid in my opinion

This is why I made that forum that no one liked hehe.

I just had to put him in his place, and I think I did that pretty well To not turn this into a political debate, I was merely trying to point out that it's highly unlikely that this was staged, and I think the Brits should be commended for a job well done rather than insulting their capabilities by saying it was all fake

Anyway, can we go back to Eddie Izzard?

He was in Avengers? I KNEW I should have seen that

I wish he was more popular here. Whenever I tell someone to see Eddie Izzard, they think I'm talking about some rock star from the 1980's lol. And when they finally do see him, they're like "MAN, you had me watch some gay dude!" But he's not gay, he "fancies women," as he puts it. He's an "executive" transvestite, not a "scary" transvestite

ditto, like you I find a lot wrong with our governments and am quiteliberal, but I'm no Micheal Moore, by thinking everything that goes wrong is the government lying, staging or whatever. I think they're doing well, London may have slipped through but after that, security has been pretty tight, although all some one has to do in the London underground is leave a bag there, its not too hard as they don't know the contents inside.

Quote: "Anyway, can we go back to Eddie Izzard?"

aaaanyway, double ditto, but lets look at other comedians, like Henry Rollins, I saw him live and he is hilarious, sort of like f*** you and apologises afterwards, he's very anti Bush though. He went on a flight to Australia for the big day out, on the plane he was reading a book called Jihad, as he likes reading that sort of thing, he then recieved an email from the security afterwards, for being criticised on reading that book and his general political view for being a potential terrorist threat to Australia, he was quite annoyed and got defensive about it and sent a really angry email back, including hard insults about the prime minister, they replied with an apology saying how this sort of thing happens a lot and explaining it, somehow the Australian press got hold of this email and published it.

Henry Rollins is doing comedy now? yeesh, I remember when he was in the hardcore punk band Black Flag. I saw him in a few movies, too, but never in major roles.

It seems like the cool "cult-classic" comedians all die way too young. Bill Hicks and Mitch Hedberg come immediately to mind. I love Bill Hicks but I can't really quote him here lol. My favorite comedian of all time is Richard Pryor, no contest. I'm also one of the six Robin Williams fans in the universe lol... I'd love to hang out with him, hyper is always fun My friends all think I'm nuts though. And George Carlin, he's always funny, can't go wrong with blunt-ness. "They ban the toy guns... AND THEY KEEP THE ****IN' REAL ONES!" lol gets me every time I've seen him live three times so far, and Robin Williams once, and my ex-girlfriend forced me to go see Bill Cosby, but I didn't want to see him and I didn't enjoy his show

Yeah he's a good comedian, very in your face, I was pretty much at the front, got a picture from that as well.

Hmm... how do you quote Bill Hicks without upsetting mods... Well, here's my best try:

"Your child isn't special... each time a guy **** he ****** 2,000,000 *****... per ****! That means I've ****** entire civilizations off ** ** ***** with an *** **** *** sock!"

lol, I removed all innuendo. Only the people who know the joke will understand it And I removed completely innocent words that would have otherwise led people to conclude what he was saying Take that teenagers-who-shouldn't-be-listening-to-Bill-Hicks-preach

I don't know why, I never actually looked into Bill Hicks, if its that offensive I can't even understand the censored version, its worth looking into

Shouldn't? You mean should, it gives them better things than to listen to 50 cent telling them to bust a cap in cop's ass, you should learn better things. My role model from about age 9 was Marilyn Manson, then as soon as he sacked twiggy, his music and meaning just went and I lose my respect. Now my role model is Mr Miyage from karate kid Just kidding

Ooohhh---- soooo close to locking this before reading that it averted

Truth be told, I've never even *heard* of Eddie Izzard. I like Steve Wright or however you spell his name. I'm not into those comedians that swear every other word---- that's just cheap laughs in my opinion. A comedian who is intelligent doesn't have to get dirty, really.

I know that Steve Wright might get raunchy but it's rare.

Bill Hicks was a genius. I have a bunch of his shows on VHS... I should hook up the VCR to my computer and e-mail you some of his stuff I think you'd like it actually... it wasn't all terrible. In that quote there weren't many curse words... it was mostly sexual innuendo

I would hardly call Marilyn Manson a proper role model. I don't imagine he keeps kids off drugs and all that. My role models growing up were Richard Pryor (man, I want to watch Brewster's Millions), Will Wright, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Roy Jones Jr. You can't go wrong with a lineup consisting of two of the world's greatest athletes, an awesome game designer (who helped inspire me to make games as soon as Sim City (the original) came out), and one of the greatest stand-up comics of all time Although Pryor was such a massive drug addict that he lit himself on fire once... but hey, I was a kid and didn't get that stuff, and my parents did a good job at raising me (26 years old and I've never consumed an illegal drug in my entire life, except drinking when I was 18, but what teenager doesn't do that... And it's noteworthy that I was never an alchohic or anything and I haven't had a beer since 2002 or 2003 ).

It's a bad time to be Muslim, that's for sure.

I was in Manhattan at the at the time this plot was discovered, and it had quite a big effect on everyone there.

I just got back from Germany. No special security in Munich Airport at all which shocked us a little as we'd heard of CNN that all hand luggage except the bare minimum would be forbidden to and from all UK airports. We had packed everything into our checked luggage and ended up taking it all out again when we were told at checkin that there was no need. There was a bit more security at Manchester Airport, but not much. Nothing got searched at Munich or Manchester.

It does concern me, what is the point of doing huge security checks and enforcing disruptive rules if they are not being used on incoming flights also? It would be quite easy for someone to detonate the bombs from a european country to Manchester or Heathrow and I wouldn't be surprised if that happens.

Was alright, but abit dull at times (as that's the penalty for travelling with family)

I hit up Washignton D.C, Manhatten, and Atlantic City. (And managed to lose $10 to a slot machine)

A pic I took leaning over the Empire State Building:

Would definatly like to comeback, with a group of friends this time.

I've just finished watching Stewart Lee on Paramount Comedy, and he made a classic line:

Which casino in Atlantic City? I love AC... Taj Mahal is my personal favorite casino, and Tropicana is nice too. I hope you explored the boardwalk a bit and saw the sword shop If I knew you were going to Atlantic City I would have given you some names for great places to eat How did you get passed security? Aren't you younger (I think I know how old you are but it's just under 18 so I can't say it)? If they had caught you playing you could have gotten into serious trouble! I wouldn't suggest it, hehe.

I haven't been to the top of the ESB since I was a little kid... that's a great picture Glad you enjoyed your trip, hope you get to come back with friends and whatnot

I visited Ceaser's and Trump Plaza. I'm 17 years old, enough with the lame underage crap rule.

They let me in, they just said "wander around but don't play". Obvious a lack of security there.

Yeah... if you walked down to the other end of the boardwalk and tried that at Taj Mahal they wouldn't have even let you enter the building unless your parents were staying at the hotel, and Trump Plaza is notoriously lax on security, but I'm surprised you got into Caesars. Taj Mahal has a stupid policy where you can't get into the building if you're under 21, unless your parents have a room there. Rediculously stupid... so instead of letting a kid walk through the casino with his or her parents to reach the boardwalk, they make you turn around, walk outside, down through the parking ramp, and up a dangerous side street to reach the boardwalk it's such a stupid rule.

The rule isn't 21 because of gambling, it's 21 because they serve free alchoholic drinks in most casinos. Turning Stone, for instance, is 18 to enter and play, because they don't serve alcohol on the premises. No one said that but I figured I'd point it out, hehe.

laptops and mp3 players should be allowed on board, a laptop must not have any wireless signals though, any wireless networking must be disabled BEFORE boarding the aircraft and any other things like infraed and bluetooth must not be used at all, mp3 players are ok though
