Try this for your glass color:
glasscol=rgb(10,10,50)

anyone know of a way of turning this picture into the many object parts to make a pane of glass that will then shatter.

Is there an easy way to put a window in a room without using CSG? I can load a room using a level made in FPSC but I am not sure how to add a window to it (assuming HowDo gets the answer we all need above). Or do I have to build the whole room and window by using primitives?

not got FPSC, so cannot say.

you could try saving the object as a dbo and seeing if you can load it in with the FPSC editor.

Edit:

I have a good Idea.

Create 8 objects of glass as a puzzle.
Look my example in the picture.

You can use the 3D world studio to create them.

Simply create one square. In fact one plane , Or one thin box.
Cut it in 8 or more pieces. My Idea is very close to effect you want to create.

Create one thin box with 3D world Studio.

Use slice plane tool and cut your Square box that you have create.
You can create more cuts on this square thin box.

Then save the seperate pieces of this box as seperate .x objects.
Or .dbo

Load all of the pieces and put them in order as a puzzle and create
the effect of broken glass in your game.

See my example.

With this way you can create many totaly destruction and wall
demolition effects.

You can create a big house and slise them and put it as a puzzle.

Put all pieces of the house(Building) in order and make a good explosion effect to your map , to your building etc...

Note:

Could be borring to cut everything in pieces.
If there is some algorhythm which slice an object in pieces from on
bitmap , it will be better according to HowDo.

Yah, do that. Make it an .exe-file aswell if you have the energy. I don't have PhysX, but I would like to see some examples to see if I should buy it or not

will do when I get it sorted to fit what I am using.

Takis76 what would the positions be all joined together

say middle piece was at 0,0,0

as the size I am using is only 11.0 units wide per frame.

I have the PhysX.

I will create this funny effect , tomorrow because now is
3:10 am. and I need some sleep.

In the code I have sent you , there are possitions of pieces in order to make the window.

You can use the ghost object 1 function to make , looks like a glass.

But I will made some change on the code.

And I will make one window.

But the glass cracks are appearing before smashing.

I have an Idea. Before smashing. You need to put whole square.
Then make it visible and make invisible the other pieces.

But this will happend if the object (Ball , rock , bullet) collide with the first object (Whole glass before brakes). Then invisible the whole square , and after miliseconds , you will put the pieces of broken glass in the correct order visible , in same place of the whole glass and then make the effect.

This will take little time to create the effect.

But this is the Idea.

Some changes of the code , to make the correct possitions of
glass pieces with window.

But cuts are appeare before smashing.
So invisible the piece and put whole window before...

you need to have 0.1 between joins
say object is 100 square
old way
position object 1,100,100,0
position object 2,200,100,0

new way
position object 1,100,100,0
position object 2,200.1,100,0

Ok, What have I missed, with the above DBO's by Takis76.

I seem unable to color them or texture them, its just black or if texture mode 1 then just a brown.

color object 1,rgb(255,0,0) does nothing.

so whats wrong.
