That's really good; it'll make a nice (and I'm sure popular) contribution. Great work.

Bradle is maybe a bit to modern for WWII.. Bradle was used in desert storm... If You want WWII tanks instead, its quite easy to find them on internet...

I want to see a FPSC Professional! And lets make it REALLY expensive this time......

Yea I first started off with a more real looking wood texture, but for some reason they just didn't look right, I tried a few other textures but still didn't look right, so I went with one of the wall textures from the WWII segments that came with FPS Creator, they still dont have that wood feel but you can tell that they were
made out of poles, some times it's best to go with a more less detailed texture to make things look right, but if anyone have's any wood textures that they think would do the Trench segment justice then post them and I will try them out, and if they look right then I'll post a new version of the segments with the textures.

OK I got them ready, now I made these for a game Im working on because I want that Call of Duty, and Medal of Honor look for the game, and so far the graphics looks right,(well to me it anyway) but any thing I could do to make them more to your liking just post, now I made two different batches of trench segments, one is the shallow Trenches, and the other is The deep Trenches, now they will install to the user file in the segments file, they look the same so I named them different so look at them close, the deep segments have the word (Big) in the name, and the shallow segments have a (2) in the name, yea I know a weird way of naming right, well I had alot going on at that time so please forgive me.

anways here is the first file, the Shallow Trenches.

Ok now here is the secound file, the Deep Trenches, with these I added a couple of ladders just incase you drop your granade with the pin pulled.

Now Im still in the prosses of doing more work on them so they are not very well detailed yet because Im still trying to find that right texture, anyways enjoy.

Hmm..well MK83, I looked through everyting, and I can't seem to find any problems,I used the FPS segment editor to create them and and some of the meshes that I used came with FPS Creator,so everything works fine on my PC, but I'll keep checking.

I looked in the user folder where the files are and I dont see any texture files. only bit maps. maybe this is the problem. There arent any textures in the texture folder either.

I was thinking, I used the FPS segment editor to make the trenches,
and I also used textures from WWII files within the texturebank of FPS, so you should have the same texture files, so all you should realy need is the mesh file for logwall.x, I uploaded the mesh file so lets see if that fixes the problem, just put it in meshbank/user file.

Let me know if this works.

ok I installed the logwall.x. All the segments work except:
Trench_dead_Ladder and Trench_T_Ladder.
I get Runtime error 7001- mesh number illegal at line 9677.

ok, good I thought that was the case, so now you need the ladder mesh, in fact it's just a laddermesh by it self, I have two of them but can't remember which one it is so Im giving you both of them, just stick them into meshbank/user, let me know if these work to.

well SilverMasters, I think terrain could be made as segments, but in order to make one complete terrain it would take alot of segments and alot of time to make them, I did alot of tile set work for other projects with other game engines and I tell ya it takes alot of tiles to make one complete map, so think of how many segments you would have to make one complete terrain, but I think it would be good to have something like this, tell you what when I get a title more time I'll try to make a few and see how it would go.

Well SilverMasters, like I said I would have to make a few to see what that outcome will be, weather the fps will be low are will it increas the fps, I don't know if anyone has tried this yet, so I hope once I try this idea I will be able to answer your question.

I get the same mesh error with the fort and the trenches even though I unzip the meshes under mesh/user, anything I can do?
